Jones Lang LaSalle Expands Latin America Operations into Colombia

Colombia in line as next South American nation to capitalize on investment opportunities

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA, Nov. 23, 2011 — Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the opening of its first office in Colombia, the latest step in expanding its full-service commercial real estate operations across Latin America. Located in Bogota, the office will serve as the base of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Northern Cone operations, and will provide Brokerage, Integrated Facility Management, and Project and Development Services for core clients throughout the region. The firm has operated in Colombia for more than a decade, and is establishing a corporate office to reinforce its commitment to this growing region.

“Colombia’s prime location at the heart of the Northern Cone region, coupled with its dramatically improved political and economic climate, makes it an ideal market for corporate expansion and international investment,” said Shannon Robertson, Head of Regional Latin America for Jones Lang LaSalle. “Our new Bogota office will advance the development of cross-regional service delivery to key corporate clients, and will be a pinpoint location for the firm’s operations in the Northern Cone.”

The Jones Lang LaSalle Northern Cone operations will be overseen by Pedro Azcue, CEO and President of operations throughout Latin America; Shannon Robertson, Head of Regional Latin America; George Amador, Managing Director of Integrated Facility Management, Latin America; and Senior Vice Presidents Zach Cheney and Raul Esparza. The Jones Lang LaSalle team also includes locally based managers as well as Directors Juan Carlos Hernandez, Integrated Facility Management; Paula Cardenas, Project and Development Services; and Jean Baptiste Wettling, Transactions.
