Office Market Report Guadalajara 1Q 2022

Guadalajara’s office market presented favorable behavior and achieved signs of recovery.

June 27, 2022
  • Although some companies have announced the return of their employees to offices in a hybrid system, most still keep their teams working from home, however, the positive part is that some have made adjustments corresponding to the budget allocated for office rental, which represents the second highest outflow of a company, only behind its payroll; so from the second half of 2021 the lease of corporate spaces could begin to increase.
  • For the 1Q of 2022, the submarkets with the highest activity were Américas (Zona Financiera) and Vallarta, which together reported 97% of the gross absorption of the market
  • 2022 will be a year of growth in investment for the entity. This, due to the incursion of negotiations on construction with Qatar, in addition to countries such as Brazil and Colombia.
